A solar power battery maintainer ensures a healthy, fully charged battery wherever you are, without the need for an electrical outlet or battery pack. Ideal for extending the battery life of 12V lead-acid batteries, the SP-400 solar battery maintainer can be used to maintain the battery of your motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, boat, car, truck, RV, or other vehicle. Employing amorphous solar technology, the SP-400 even works in cloudy conditions and built-in water resistance means a stray rain shower won’t damage the unit. There are two ways to hook-up the SP-400 to your vehicle battery. Use the battery clips to connect it directly to your battery or plug the 12V plug into your vehicle’s 12V DC accessory outlet. The Schumacher SPC-7A Charge Controller is recommended for extra overcharge protection (sold separately).
